STRENGTH IN OUR WEAKNESSES
In a world where there is so much emphasis on the word 'perfection'- we some how have fallen into the trap of trying to perfect our lives, families, world, etc. We have learned to hide our brokenness and have learned to cover them with temporary things that does not really deal with the inner hurts of our lives. However, the scripture helps us to understand that our weakness are not something that makes us weak but it is something that us makes us strong.
When we open our broken lives and world to God himself- he mends our broken hearts and turns our weaknesses to strength. Instead of hiding our weaknesses, we need to learn to celebrate them. In the words of Paul the Apostle:
That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
